Dr. Sydney Koenig, DC

Bio

Dr. Sydney Koenig earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Logan University. While at Logan, she had the opportunity to be a part of a sports medicine and rehabilitation clinic that worked with collegiate athletes in the STL area. Prior to attending chiropractic school, Dr. Sydney earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky. She still roots for her Cats every game day.

Dr. Sydney has always had a passion for health and wellness. Growing up, she played volleyball year round and ran track through the winter and spring. She fell in love with strength training and its effect on her performance during sports early on. Since 2020, Dr. Sydney has been a personal trainer and remote fitness and nutrition coach, helping a variety of clients with goals such as weight loss or weight gain, improving their strength, speed and agility, or learning how to control health conditions through diet instead of medications and surgeries.

Outside of work, Dr. Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially at the lake. She also practices what she preaches by staying active training in the gym, running, hiking, surfing, playing sand volleyball, pickleball, golf, or flag football.

Dr. Sydney is a big believer that movement in medicine. This belief greatly influences the way she treats. Whether you are a weekend warrior or ultra marathoner, Dr. Sydney treats every patient like an elite athlete. She was trained as a musculoskeletal specialist so she uses a combination of muscle work, fascial manipulation, dry needling, joint mobilizations and adjustments, rehabilitation exercises or loading strategies, and nutrition during her sessions. Her goal is to not only get her patients pain free, but to keep their discomfort away, while improving their movement, performance, and overall well being.
