Dr. Theresa Torres is a sports enthusiast that integrates chiropractic, functional rehabilitation, and advanced soft tissue techniques to create an individualized and comprehensive approach to help patients achieve their optimum performance and health goals.
Dr. Torres graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. Prior to Palmer, Dr. Torres earned her degree in Applied Health Sciences concentrated in Chiropractic Studies from the University of Wisconsin Parkside, graduating with Phi Eta Sigma Honors.
Through Palmer, Dr. Theresa had the opportunity to treat members of the Fijian National Rugby Team while on her clinic abroad mission. She is honored and humbled by the experience of treating international athletes.
Dr. Theresa’s philosophy is that the human body is a dynamic, ever-changing system capable of extraordinary feats such as marathons, triathlons, Olympic lifting, and birth! She believes that the body was designed to function and perform without pain or compensation. When poor performance or pain arises, the true dysfunction lies within the kinetic chain regardless of where symptoms occur. Her goal is to reduce pain at the site of these symptoms while teaching prevention and functional movements to prevent the problem from resurfacing.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, running, rugby, and spending time with her family, friends, and puppy.

Dr. Jared Sams became interested in chiropractic in the seventh grade following a football injury. After being told by different doctors the injury he sustained would prevent him from playing contact sports, one of his coaches suggested trying chiropractic. Through chiropractic care, Dr. Sams was able to fulfill his goal of finishing his football career. After this experience, Dr. Sams made it his dream to become a chiropractor to help others achieve their goals whether that be getting back to a sport, improving on your last PR, or holding a grandchild.
Dr. Sams graduated Summa Cum Laude as the Salutatorian from West Virginia University with a BS in Exercise Physiology. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic – West Campus, well-known for sports chiropractic. Here, he was an active member of the Sports Council program where he had the privilege of working with a variety of athletes at events including: The Sea Otter Classic (largest cycling event in the country), San Jose State Rugby games, marathons, and more. After completion of his studies, Dr. Sams graduated Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian. He was awarded the Presidential Scholar for academic excellence.
Dr. Sams practices evidence-based chiropractic utilizing a variety of techniques to customize treatment plans including: Chiropractic Adjustments, ART, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), individualized active rehab exercises, and more. He believes patient education is vital in the treatment process whether you are recovering from an injury, trying to improve performance, or maintaining overall health and wellness. Dr. Sams strives to acknowledge what motivates each of his patients and work together with them to reach their full potential.
Dr. Sams lives in Fort Mill with his wife, Chelsea, and miniature schnauzer, Zeus. In his spare time he enjoys working out, playing the guitar, and spending time with family.

LAURA SUNDQUIST, PT
Laura Sundquist PT received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. With over 20 years of experience, Laura has worked in a variety of settings, treating both orthopedic and neurological conditions in all age groups.
Laura has taken interest in the subject of managing osteoporosis and has lectured and taught exercise classes specific to this condition. She has also taught pre and post natal exercise classes which she can appreciate as she has 2 children of her own. Laura is looking to create more programs/ educational opportunities in the future such as for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
Laura feels the key to her success in her career is her ability to establish trusting and sincere relationships with her patients through 1:1 care. She is personally rewarded by her patient’s successes as they meet their goals. She is excited to be a part of the Carolina Sports Clinic team and feels integrating PT and chiropractic services is a great step to wellness for our patients.
In addition to musculoskeletal injuries such as back/ neck pain and joint injuries, common conditions Laura treats are arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements/ post surgical rehab, nerve injuries/ conditions, balance/ fall prevention , MS, Parkinson’s, and post stroke.
Laura enjoys spending her free time with friends and family . She and her husband stay quite busy keeping up with their two toddlers. She loves to play tennis and exercising outdoors, She is an avid sports lover .

Dr. Joshua Kollmann received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. Dr. Kollmann has extensive education and experience in treating all levels of athletic needs as well as musculoskeletal conditions. He earned his Master’s Degree in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention from the California University of Pennsylvania as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Kollmann has advanced training in treating soft tissue injuries, including full body certification in Active Release Technique (ART) and Graston Technique. He is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Dr. Kollmann has the distinction as a Performance Enhancement Specialist with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) which provides advanced skills to evaluate human movement. Building on a broad base of knowledge, he is certified in both acupuncture and dry needle specializations. Dr. Kollmann is also a Level III Medical Provider with Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST).
Dr. Kollmann is in his eighth season as the Team Chiropractor for the Carolina Panthers as well as his ninth season treating as part of the PGA Sports Medicine Team.
Not only does Dr. Kollmann treat athletes at various events, but he is an avid triathlete and competitor. An accomplished Ironman, Kollmann competed in Ironman events in Lake Placid, Arizona, Louisville, and Cozumel. Dr. Kollmann has qualified and ran the Boston Marathon twice. He is also a USA Triathlon level 1 coach.
Dr. Kollmann’s philosophy is to utilize treatment plans founded on science, and care for patients compassionately utilizing a variety of Chiropractic, Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Rehabilitative techniques which will eliminate symptoms and improve overall function of the human body. He also strongly believes in patient education and empowering patients to improve the quality of their lives, because patients who know more about their conditions stay healthier.

Andrea Cordle earned her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from Lock Haven University, Lock Haven PA. As a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Athletic Trainer for over 25 years, Andrea has extensive knowledge in rehabilitating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal and neurologic impairments. She has practiced in various settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient neuro rehabilitation with an emphasis on patients with traumatic brain injury, work rehabilitation, the Veteran’s Affairs Healthcare System, and the US Public Health Service/Indian Health Service. Areas of specific focus include orthopedic and sports injuries, vestibular disorders, balance impairments, muscle imbalance syndromes, and post-op rehabilitation for orthopedic surgery. Additionally, Andrea is a certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise.
Andrea’s approach to patient care emphasizes treating the whole patient, not just a diagnosis. She utilizes a strong foundation in biomechanics combined with manual therapy and therapeutic exercise to address each individual patient’s rehabilitation goals. She believes that educating her patients in the injury and recovery process is vital to achieving optimal results for lifelong prevention of re-injury and maintenance of pain-free functional movement. With this philosophy,
she strives to improve the overall health and wellness of each patient for healthy living beyond the rehabilitation period. Andrea enjoys getting to know her patients and investing in their rehabilitation wellness journey.
Andrea lives in Fort Mill with her husband and has three grown children. Her hobbies include gardening, writing, calligraphy, exercise, and outdoor pursuits. On weekends you may find her hiking with her 80-pound Belgian Malinois, Luna.
